Normal Condyle

Normal condyle should be in the physiological center. The joint space should be 3-5 mm thick. The cortical plate should be smooth and not pitted.

Although the positioning of the condyle is normal, is this an undamaged condyle from a young patient—or does it not exhibit flattening on the anterior surface and a “bend over” look due to flattening of the posterior surface?
